Rongai matatu that looks classier than the first class of the newly acquired passenger train
- Kenya bought passenger trains from China as construction of SGR continues
- Kenyans have been expressing mixed reactions
- Now they are comparing the trains with a Rongai matatu
Kenyans have continued to express mixed reactions following the arrival from China of new passenger trains to be used by Kenyans on the newly built Standard Gauge Railway.
The passenger train Kenya bought.
Now the social media users have gone a notch higher to compare the first class section of the trains to the inside of a matatu plying the city centre-Rongai route..
The matatu looks more furnished than the train, with nice sound system and screens attached to every seat.
While a section of Kenyans believe the government has made a step forward, the majority expected more from the authorities considering the billions of money used to construct the SGR.
Upon their arrival, Kenyans were treated to videos showing their first class and economy class sections and the mockery trickled in.
